How Journal Entries Work

Journal entries are created in two ways:

    From Reflection Chat — The AI extracts structured insights from your conversation and creates an entry automatically.
  • 2
    Manual Entry — Click "New Entry" on the Journal page to write directly.

What's in an Entry

Title & Summary

A headline and brief overview of the session

Emotions

Tagged emotions with sentiment (positive, negative, neutral)

Lessons Learned

Categorized takeaways (execution, psychology, risk management, etc.)

Linked Trades

Trades discussed during the reflection, with P&L visible

Day Rating

1-5 star self-assessment of your trading day

Browsing Your Journal

Search

Find entries by keyword — searches titles, summaries, and lessons

Date Range Filter

View entries from specific periods (Last Week, Last Month, etc.)

Plan limits: Spark shows 30 days, Trader shows 1 year, Pro shows unlimited history.

Editing Entries

Click any entry to view details, then use the actions in the top-right:

Edit title, summary, emotions, lessons
Delete entry permanently

  • • Review your journal weekly to spot recurring patterns
  • • Use emotions to filter entries — find days when you traded anxiously
  • • Star your best lessons to review before trading
  • • Export your journal for offline review (Pro plan)
