Manage Billing

Update your payment method, view invoices, and manage your subscription.

Accessing Billing Settings

  1. Go to Settings from the sidebar
  2. Click the Billing tab
  3. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal

Billing is handled securely by Stripe. Forge never stores your card details.

Update Payment Method

  1. Open the Stripe billing portal (Settings → Billing → Manage Billing)
  2. Click Payment methods
  3. Add a new card or update the existing one
  4. Set the new card as default
Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover

View & Download Invoices

In the Stripe portal, click Billing history to see all past invoices. You can:

  • • View invoice details
  • • Download PDF invoices
  • • See payment status and dates

Billing Cycle

Your subscription renews automatically on the same day each month (or year for annual plans).

  • Monthly: Renews on the day you subscribed
  • Yearly: Renews on the anniversary of your subscription
  • Usage limits: Reset on the 1st of each month (regardless of billing date)

Cancel Subscription

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the Stripe billing portal
  2. Click Cancel plan
  3. Confirm cancellation
What happens when you cancel:
  • • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • • Your data is never deleted
  • • You'll revert to the free Spark plan

Payment Issues

If your payment fails:

  • • Check that your card hasn't expired
  • • Ensure sufficient funds are available
  • • Contact your bank if they're blocking the transaction
  • • Try a different payment method

Stripe will retry failed payments automatically over 7 days before pausing your subscription.
